Objectively speaking, humanity has already experienced the greatest movie of the 21st century. Filmmaking as an art form has produced innovative works that have outlasted their creators. Whether it would be the powerful performance of 12 Years a Slave or the whimsical adventure of Spirited Away, movies are a timeless pastime. However, there is only one movie that is worthy to be called the greatest in our era. A movie that has influenced future filmmakers and swayed countless reviewers with its power. That movie is Soul Plane.

Master Storytelling

Soul Plane’s premise is shockingly complex. Nashawn Wade (Kevin Hart) has always loved airplanes since youth because of his home being next to an airport. One day, Nashawn boards an airplane to take a flight that would change his life. After a horrendous encounter with airline food that had Nashawn restricted to a toilet seat, he also losses his beloved dog, Dre. Nashawn then sues the airline for damages regarding his loss and is awarded a small sum of one-hundred million dollars. Instead of spending the money on night clubs, hydraulics, and liquor, he puts the money towards running his own airline. With night clubs, hydraulics, and liquor.

Comedic Genius

I could elaborate on the tasteful comedic racial and sexual innuendo jokes carefully peppered throughout Soul Plane.

Conculsion

Soul Plane is a film that will be studied for generations to come. I know I have gone through great lengths to illustrate my numerous points on the movie. The premise along with several diverse acting talent Soul Plane provides supports its greatness. Very few films have the poise to tell countless gags about common subject matter relating to stereotypes. However, Soul Plane has mastered this concept through quantity over quality. Soul Plane was certainly ahead of its time in the year 2004. But that will not stop its reputation of being the greatest movie of the 21st century.
