Amazon’s Invincible Adaption is Incredible

Reading Time: 3 min read

Adaptations from books or comics has always put me in a weary state. Simultaneously, I am excited to experience the series in a new light yet dread improper execution. I understand that everything cannot be done to the minute details due to hampering a show’s run time. However, when major details change, I find myself between mildly and greatly annoyed at the unnecessary changes. Thankfully, Amazon’s adaptation provides a fun and refreshing air to Image Comics Invincible.

Heartbreaker

Reading Time: 23 min read

Out of all the days for the A/C to die, it had to be on their last gig.

Anthony, the alleged leader of the group, struggled with the cooling unit one last time before he smacked it in defeat. The oak brown 72’ Lincoln Continental Town Car was not a top-of-the-line model anymore, but it got the three gang members of the Royce Club from point A to point B. Much like the older car, Anthony “Ant” Favero felt like he was on his last legs. Despite being at the age of twenty-six, he felt like a dawdling old man. He was Earthborn with medium-width chestnut hair and a small patch of facial hair on his chin.

My Falling Out with Street Fighter

Reading Time: 6 min read

I have always admired fighting games from the late 90’s to early 2000’s era. From the arcade cabinets to the comfort of my PlayStation, fighting games was the genre for me. Early Capcom installments like Rival Schools, or Marvel vs Capcom 2 had me constantly coming back for more. It was not until much later when I was properly introduced to the competitive scene to my beloved genre. I found myself trying to prove myself online in Capcom’s revitalized Street Fighter IV. I had a wonderful journey with Street Fighter and found myself with the revelation that I could go no further.
